Bowls, Totes and Rugs

Learn how to use fabric scraps, old T-shirts and a crochet hook to create a one-of-a-kind rag rug, bowl or tote. The basic method is the same. Participants will how learn to make a foundation and then modify. Add a few stitches each round and you have a flat rug. Add handles and you have a tote. Learn about making tee-shirt yarn, how to do a knotless join and the two basic crochet stitches needed. Students should bring old t-shirts, cotton scraps, sharp scissors and a size N crochet hook. Additional fabric & rotary cutters will be available. This class is best for teens and adults.
