Book Signing: Chef Jillian Forte

Chef Jillian Forte of At Sara’s Table Chester Creek Café will be signing copies of her new At Sara’s Table Chester Creek Café 20th Anniversary Cookbook.

For 20 years, At Sara’s Table Chester Creek Café owners Barb Neubert and Carla Blumberg have provided a welcoming space and championed diversity, sustainability and local farms to create delicious comfort food with a twist. This cookbook is loaded with recipes culled from two decades of café favorites. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, soups, salads, sides and bakery — 90 recipes scaled down for home cooking. Packed with culinary tips from the kitchen crew, anecdotes from beloved servers, and indexed with creative substitutions to satisfy a variety of dietary needs.

Forte was the executive chef for nine of her 17 years with At Sara’s Table Chester Creek Cafe. Featured on PBS, the Food Network, and in the Duluth News Tribune, she has written hundreds of recipes and one cookbook. After two years traveling in Mexico and beyond, she is back at the cafe working her magic.
