“Block Printing Basics” is a class that will teach basic steps of printmaking. The instructor will assist students who have some experience learn new techniques to push beyond the basics. Students will have their choice of working with “3×4” inch or “4X6” inch block medium and are welcome to create more than one block print if they have time.

Registration Includes:
Instruction and all materials are included. Students will go home with a basic knowledge and ability for creating their own linoleum block prints, their original carved block and prints and or cards created during the class.

Student Requirements:
Skill Level/Prerequisite Skills: No prior experience needed.
Best for Ages: 13 and older
Students should bring: Wear old clothing and bring resource photos (simple black and white images are best) of things you may like to use as subject matter. Printed out copies work best (versus working from a phone screen). These could be scaled to 3X4 or 4X6 images depending which size you would like to create.
