In this hands-on beginner wood carving class, kids will learn the basics of wood carving in a safe and fun environment. Guided by an experienced instructor, students will discover how to handle carving tools, understand basic wood cuts and learn essential techniques to create a small, simple project to take home. Safety and creative exploration are the focus as participants dive into the rewarding world of wood carving. Gloves, knives and carving blanks will provided.
This class is best for ages 8-12.

John Donahue is a member of Knotty Carvers of the North and has been carving for about 15 years.
