This beginner spinning wheel class covers basic principles of the spinning wheel, wool characteristics and how to draft wool, spinning a ‘single’ yarn, wind yarn off on a niddy-noddy and making a 2-ply yarn. Several ounces of fiber will be provided, and participants take home the skein of yarn that they spun during class.
