Beginner Spinning Wheel

In this class participants will learn how to spin wool fiber to make yarn. The session covers the basic principles of the spinning wheel, wool characteristics and how to draft wool, how to spin a “single” yarn, steps to wind yarn off on a niddy-noddy and how to make a two-ply yarn.
