Becky Schlegel performs original Minnesota music, drawing on the influence of classic country, bluegrass and folk. She takes listeners on a musical journey, exploring new places and meeting new people in every song.
Duluth-based Americana songwriter Breanne Marie will open the show.
Schlegel has performed on A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor and the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour, is a 2016 inductee into the Legends of South Dakota Country Music Association, a Minnesota Music Awards recipient and Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association’s Favorite Band/Vocalist 25th Anniversary Award Recipient. She is also a five-time International Bluegrass Music Association Songwriter Showcase Participant.
The 48s include fiddler Eric Christopher, bassist Rich Casey, guitarist Clint Birtzer and banjo player Anthony Ihrig.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; music starts at 7:30.
