BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet plays West Theatre. Their distinctive sound is derived from New Orleans jazz, blues rock, folk, swamp pop, Zydeco, country and bluegrass.
Their most recent album is titled “From Bamako to Carencro,” alluding the cultural and migratory connection between Bamako, West Africa and Louisiana, a connection that draws a sonic bloodline back to BeauSoleil’s roots.
