Be on Board: Nonprofit Board Member Service Training

Community Action Duluth, Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation, Head of the Lakes United Way and the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits invite the community to learn more about nonprofit board member service through a training program that takes place over four Wednesday-evening sessions on Jan. 24, Feb. 28, March 27 and April 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Participants will be introduced to board member basic duties, human resources and legal responsibilities, financial information, and governance with an equity lens. Sessions are all scheduled to be held at Community Action Duluth.
Registration is open at eventbrite.com. Tickets are $150; participants should commit to attending all four sessions.
