Author Reading: Dianna Hunter’s Clouded Waters
Event Navigation
Duluth writer Dianna Hunter reads from her debut novel, Clouded Waters, and answers questions about her writing process and what it takes to capture the attention of a publisher like Minnesota’s Holy Cow! Press.
Lindsay Harmon, reviewing Clouded Waters for the American Library Association Booklist, writes, “Hunter’s debut novel weaves mystery, romance, and social justice into a beautifully written page-turner. Recommend to fans of Annie Proulx.”
A retired instructor and lecturer, Hunter is an engaging speaker and published author of two nonfiction books that were both finalists for the Minnesota Book Awards.
The event is part of the “Book Club for Writers Series” sponsored by Lake Superior Writers. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
