The Duluth Playhouse is holding auditions at the NorShor Theatre Rehearsal Studios. Enter through the “Lights on Duluth” door located next to the box office.
The audition will be split into two parts:
Part 1: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Actors will be asked to perform one of the preselected texts from the play.
Part 2: 3 p.m. – A movement audition. Come dressed and ready to move

Based on Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel, this play is a story of adventure and personal growth centered around a 15-year-old boy with autism. Christopher is ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone, detests being touched and distrusts strangers. When he finds himself under suspicion for the death of his neighbor’s dog, he determines to find the real killer.
Performances run May 26 to June 4.
