The American Indian Community Housing Organization (AICHO) and Indigenous First Art & Gift Shop will host their annual winter market, “Biboon Bimaadiziwin: Winter Good Life,” on Small Business Saturday.
The market features over 40 small, local and regional Indigenous and BIPOC businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, food producers, jewelry and fashion designers & more! Elders and those who have accessibility needs are invited to shop between 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. An ugly sweater competition will be held at 12 p.m. and all attendees are welcome to participate.
The “Biboon Bimaadiziwin” winter market has provided economic opportunities to support and spotlight the local and diverse artists, food producers and entrepreneurs. “Biboon Bimaadiziwin” is the Ojibwe phrase for “Winter Good Life.”
