Advance Care Planning Class

Essentia Health presents this one-hour online advance-care planning class.

Advance care planning is a process that helps people think and talk about their choices for health care in the future, including an advance directive, also known as a living will or health-care directive.

Everyone is invited to join in conversation to discover the value of advance-care planning, reflect on their values, choose a health-care agent, explore goals for treatment and take steps toward completing a health=care directive. By having these conversations proactively, participants can ensure their preferences are understood if they become unable to make medical decisions for themselves due to an accident, injury or sudden illness.
