Adam Johnson Memorial Night at UMD Men’s Hockey Game

The Adam Johnson Memorial Fund will host a special Memorial Night at a UMD Men’s Hockey Game against Western Michigan University. This event honors the life and legacy of former UMD forward, Adam Johnson who tragically passed away on in 2023 following an on-ice incident.
The event aims to celebrate Adam’s life and raise funds to support hockey camp scholarships and academic scholarship awarded to a Hibbing High School senior with plans to attend UMD.
The evening will feature several opportunities for fans to contribute:
-Adam Johnson Memorial T-Shirt Giveaway
-Jersey Off My Back Auction: UMD players will wear special warm-up jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the game.
–Online Silent Auction: Fans can bid on pro jerseys of players who played at UMD with Adam. (Watch for auction here)
-Hibbing Youth Hockey – Little Chippers: Adam’s hometown youth hockey association will be part of the evening’s events, showcasing the future generation of players.
