Humans are at the center of a constant interplay between the powerful solar wind and the Earth’s protective magnetic field. These interactions can be felt on Earth in both beautiful and dangerous ways. Dr. Evan Tyler will take attendees on a tour of the fascinating physics of the local space environment.
This event is a School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) Colloquium held in the Raven Room of the St. Scholastica Library.
