The racial bias audit of the Duluth Police Department is in progress. An auditing firm has been hired. The auditing firm started their work in November of 2022, and plan to have a full report on their work available to the public in June of 2023. Blair Powless is a core member of the local team that developed the objectives of the audit and that is now overseeing the audit. He will review the process of developing the audit objectives, the eleven objectives of the audit, and give an update on the progress of the audit.
