Christmas comedy was dead: to begin with. But then, Rubber Chicken Theater decided to make the Twin Ports laugh again with its annual holiday sketch comedy revues. A Christmas Comedy Carol, or, How I Learned to Stop Scrooging and Keep Laughing, runs Dec. 20-21 and 27-28. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.
A Christmas Comedy Carol is the traditional sketch comedy revue for which Rubber Chicken Theater is known, featuring original sketches and song parodies that have fun with Minnesota news items and general holiday silliness, such as lines at Chick-fil-A, wayward sheep, and one night in a newly named Duluth snowplow. Tickets are $25 per person; cash or Venmo only.
