Driving While Black: Race, Space and Mobility in America is a documentary film by historian Dr. Gretchen Sorin and Emmy-winning director Ric Burns. The film examines the history of African Americans on the road from the early 1900s through the 1960s and beyond. There will be a talk about racial profiling and transportation justice in Duluth after the film screening.
