Ski & Snowboard Swap 2023

The 52nd annual Ski and Snowboard Swap is the region’s largest and longest running annual sale of new and used ski and snowboard equipment. Community members can bring in used ski and snowboard equipment — including boots, poles, helmets and clothing — to sell at the swap. The event is held in Spirit Mountain’s Grand Avenue Chalet.
Equipment Drop Off Hours
Wednesday, Oct. 26, 5-8 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 27, 5-9 p.m.
Swap Hours
Friday, Oct. 27, 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m. to noon
During the swap, attendees can purchase a season pass to Spirit Mountain as well as browse deals on new or used equipment.
Hundreds of community members take advantage of the Ski Swap to trade or clean out equipment they no longer use. Local ski shops also bring in deals for the swap. Store staff and experienced skiers or boarders are on hand to help. The swap is run by volunteers as a fundraiser for Team Duluth, with all proceeds used to make programs more affordable to area youth.
Cross-country skis are not handled by the swap; it’s alpine skis only.
