Wild parsnip is an invasive plant that presents a public health concern. Touching the plant without protective gear can cause a painful rash and blistering. Wild Parsnip has been found along Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail, Willard Munger State Trail and the Lakewalk. Intervention is necessary to address the plant’s continued spread. For more information about wild parsnip, visit the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources webpage.
