Social Animals – “Something to Keep Me Awake”

Social Animals have a new music video for the single “Something to Keep Me Awake.” The footage was shot in Europe by Brendon Marti in pre-pandemic 2020.

Singer Dedric Clark stated on Facebook that he wrote “Something to Keep Me Awake” on a 14-hour trip from Cloquet to Nashville in his mother’s old Ford Taurus.

Social Animals – “Get Over It”

Social Animals release the seven-inch record Best Years today. The group is self-quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic, waiting for a North American tour with Beach Slang to get rescheduled.

The record features previously released singles “Bad Things” and “Best Years,” and the new single “Get Over It.”

Another studio video by former Duluth band the Social Animals, shot at Type Foundry Studios in Portland, Ore. The band’s new home base is Nashville, but a trip to Duluth is planned in May to play the Homegrown Music Festival.

The Social Animals is a band that formed in Duluth and now resides in Nashville. This live studio video features a song from the group’s not-yet-released second album, recorded at Type Foundry Studios in Portland, Ore. The band plans to return to Duluth in May to play the Homegrown Music Festival.
