Well it’s over … and I’m sure we are all recovering. Let’s take a moment to reflect on what really kicked ass this year! Taking it day by day, let’s list our top two shows we saw on each day!

Kim Bullard, Elton John’s keyboardist, was at the Brewhouse Thursday night playing with Jessica Myshack. The rumors are true. Who says you have to pay 150 bucks to see Sir Elton (or a piece of his band) play in Duluth?
Wednesday night! The Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank @ the Rex as part of the Homegrown Music Festival. 11-11:45 pm. Visual presentation by Sound Unseen Duluth including snippets of the documentary Moments and Truths. Moments and Truths comes with the Hobo Nephews new CD Traveling Show.

I’m guessing that Paul Lundgren will produce evidence proving my timeline wrong, but I’m still going to give you my version of the history of Homegrown’s Sharpie mustaches.
