Every Saturday from June to September the Eco3 Urban Farm is open for activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help out with farm projects and enjoy the fresh air. The 2023 Great Lakes Day of Action will include The Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve’s fall cleanup. Volunteers across the Great Lakes are cleaning the shorelines and contributing litter data to help researchers and policy makers develop upstream solutions. Advanced registration is appreciated but not required. Snacks and cleanup supplies will be provided, but please bring work gloves if you have them. Dress for the weather and bring sturdy footwear. The rain date will be September 30.

Puppa's Pals is one of Duluth's newest nonprofits. It exists to provide temporary housing for the pets of people experiencing crises like hospital stays, chemical dependency treatment, jail, domestic violence, or any other situation where they have to give up care of their beloved pet temporarily.
