The 10th annual Knife River Julebyen is a Scandinavian-themed Christmas festival. Indoor and outdoor marketplaces will showcase Scandinavian food and wares of artisans selected by a juried process, including crafts created in Knife River. This car show, organized by the Lake Superior Ice Racing Association, is held at the old Tower Plumbing building, 2803 Banks Ave. in Superior. At 1 p.m., there will be a vehicle parade around Superior with a police escort. At 2 p.m., there will be a Zoom Q&A with all of the drivers. The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be conducting routine bridge inspections on the 40th Avenue West onramp to I-35 southbound in Duluth.
