The community is invited to an opening celebration for Gibiskising-minis azhe-dibinaweziwin, a restoration planning process led by the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Those able to walk the beach should park at Lot 5, near the lighthouse. Elders and those with limited mobility may park near the end of the point. Opening remarks and refreshments will be followed by small group walking tours and opportunities for discussion and input until 6 p.m.
