This class will focus on gentle movement using yoga and tai ji exercises performed from a seated position (chair or mat) and standing. Breathing techniques in this class are meant to calm the mind and help participants feel more grounded and focused. Each class aims to be accessible for most and will offer alternatives and modifications for a variety of students. There will be two 20-minute sessions. Pre-registration is encouraged.

This two-hour introductory class covers everything from the basics of e-bike technology to how to get around town on an e-bike safely and confidently, and includes an opportunity to practice on a short group ride. The class combines curriculum from the League of American Bicyclists and People for Bikes and will be 50% informational presentation and 50% on-bike demonstration.

Begin every session with a Yoga sequence warm-up, followed by a series of high-intensity exercises using equipment like battle ropes, medicine balls, kettlebells and resistance bands. The Park Point 5-Miler is northern Minnesota’s oldest road race. The 53rd annual race starts near the Park Point Pavilion in Duluth and participants run down Minnesota Avenue before finishing back near the pavilion. Participants have the choice of a 5-mile run or a 2-mile walk. There are also Kids’ Races again this year, which are free and open to ages 14 and under.
