The Twin Ports' Harbor City Roller Derby team competes against the Minneapolis North Star Roller Derby team. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the first whistle blows at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door and kids under age 12 get in for free with a paid adult. An after party will be held at the Superior Flame following the competition.

Business and community leaders join together for the inaugural Sustainability Awards and a state-of-the-environment presentation which will detail a green opportunity that could help to define the region’s economic future. Dr. Jennifer King, from the National Renewable Energy Lab, will present research that indicates how Minnesota can build the infrastructure for green iron/steel, concrete, e-fuels and fertilizer. The registration deadline is Monday, April 15, at 5 p.m. Lunch will be catered by Clyde Iron Works.

Dropboxes will be staffed and available for take-back events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Louis County Sheriff's offices in Virginia and Hibbing. Medications to be disposed of should be brought in in their original containers with any personal identifying information crossed off.
