Duluth Parks and Rec staff will have yard games and activities every Wednesday and Thursday from 4-6 p.m. Look for the trailer and tent at the parks listed on the schedule. The Young Athletes Foundation and Grandma's Marathon invite children 12 and under to take part in a series of six summer running races. Registration is between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m., and the races begin at 6 p.m. with the wheelchair division (when offered) followed by the youngest age group and ending with the oldest children. Duluth Parks and Recreation offers this class for learning or practicing archery. Participants will learn the basic safety, technique and process for shooting archery and get a chance to test their skills in archery games and challenges. This is an introductory class for families and community members. Participants should wear closed-toe shoes. All equipment is provided. No personal archery equipment is allowed.
