Participants can take turns leading donkeys while learning facts about them and the Amity Creek trail. Out and Active is a monthly group for outdoor adventures for LGBTQ+ individuals and families. These all-ages, beginner-level outings meet once a month in or around Duluth for a range of activities including hiking, donkey walks, paddling, climbing, dogsledding and more. From quantifying microplastics to spearheading the field of winter limnology, the science being conducted at LLO underpins a new era of water stewardship.
