Kids 10 and under are free with paid adult, no registration required. Well behaved dogs welcome to walk, run or canicross. During Scarium at the Aquarium, guests explore a spookily-decorated Great Lakes Aquarium, visiting trick-or-treat stations among the exhibits and showing off their creative costumes. PJ's Rescue and Caddy Shack are hosting their annual pup costume contest. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and the costume contest judging will take place at noon. The Caddy Shack kitchen will be open for food, there will be a silent auction and PJ's Rescue will be making custom sweatshirts/t-shirts. Winners of the costume contest will receive a Halloween-themed treat basket.

A group of difficult-to-detect birds called secretive marshbirds including rails, bitterns, grebes and others rely on high-quality wetlands and have been experiencing population decreases due to loss and degradation of habitat. Attendees learn about these species, the threats they face, their use of Allouez Bay and other wetlands in the St. Louis River Estuary and a restoration project in Allouez Bay that is restoring habitat that they rely on with Tom Prestby, the Wisconsin Conservation Manager with Great Lakes Audubon.
