Hardwood Cake Knife
At this workshop, students will take a block of thin wood, cut the outline with saws, shape the blade and handle portions with hand tools and smooth it out with files and sandpaper. Participants will discover the techniques to make a natural, hand carved cake knife that can also cut breads and produce.
