During this two-day class, students will use gouges and hook knives to hollow out a small bowl of green wood. After removing the interior, students will use axes, drawknives and carving knives to trim material off the outside and make finishing cuts.

Duluth Fiber Guild’s Annual Fiber Art Fair and Sale
High-quality, finely-crafted textile art items like handwovens, handknits, felted items, birdhouses, blankets and hand-spun yarn will be available. In addition to the sale items, there will be demonstrations of floor-loom weaving, spinning with spinning wheels and drop spindles and unique small-loom weaving.
