Spirit Valley Days 2024
Spirit Valley Days is an annual four-day extravaganza celebrating the neighborhood of West Duluth. Events run July 31 to Aug. 3. Saturday's events include a craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Grand Avenue between Central Avenue and 59th Avenue West. There will also be live music.

Hortus Garden Club, the largest of the Duluth Garden Flower Society's plots, holds its annual plant sale. Attendees can purchase plants cheap from members' gardens or from the garden plot itself. Event is at the garden plot at 46th Ave. W. and West 8th St. at Medina. Cash preferred.

Craft, Vendor and Food Truck Fair
Celebrate Spirit Valley days at the Craft, Vendor and Food Truck Fair, featuring a full street of local vendors, crafters and food trucks. Vendors will be lined up along Grand Ave (Between Central and 59th Ave West) for attendees to browse and shop.

Mix conductive materials into paint and sculpture mediums and select other conductive materials to assemble into an art piece. Then, attach cables to the art and play them as instruments. All ages are welcome. Registration fee covers one adult and one child.

This self-guided tour of several Duluth Certified Monarch Waystations feature gardens with a mix of milkweed, nectar and pollinator plants providing the habitat needed for the natural propagation of monarch butterflies. Monarch Waystations are certified by Monarch Watch, a national nonprofit education, conservation and research program.
