I found this very sweet and very sad kitten outside of my house in Lincoln Park. Is she yours, or do you know who she belongs to?
I am interested in looking into and meeting some writers who are either from the Duluth area originally or still live here. Got any ideas?
Hey everyone! Just wanted to say thank you if you helped me find these amazing people! Take a read =)

When I feel like some couch surfing, I watch Ax Men. When I’m smart, I listen to Wisconsin Public Radio. The two came together for me yesterday when I found out that the Old Globe Elevator in Superior is in trouble:
I love the shipping history of Duluth/Superior, I love Ax Men, and I love the environment. That’s a triple threat that caused me to contribute. How about you? Is it worth it? Go to oldglobewood.com for more information.
I would like to make some connections with local classic car folks here in Duluth/Superior, but there is a distinct lack of information about any groups on the web (probably because car guys aren’t often computer guys too). I am looking for general interest meets or clubs, as opposed to a specific make clubs or, for instance, street-rod-only clubs.
Still upset that Black Woods stopped serving your favorite Martini’s to go back to the more traditional martinis? Well! Have no fear for you can now get them again on Tuesdays at another fine Superior Street establishment. But keeping in the spirit of Where in Duluth?, you’ll need to figure out where.
*Tap pints also not from tap.
Alright, I like winter as much as anyone else in Duluth and don’t want to spoil people’s fun. That being said, I have a neighbor who is a bit of a snowmobile enthusiest. He likes to ride his snowmobile around his yard ad nauseum at all hours of the night. He also likes to ride up and down the street and all over the schoolyard accross the street, especially when parents and kids are sledding. I have talked to him about this but he isn’t what you would call neighborly. Is this even legal to do? It seems a trail or a lake would be a better spot than a small yard or public space to ride around. Do I have a legitimate complaint or am I being the old guy shaking his fist at everyone?
Every other year we ask you to help us identify your artistic funding needs. How can ARAC best meet your needs as artists and arts organizations in our Arrowhead Counties? Your participation in this survey will shape the next two years of ARAC funding. Please take a moment to complete this brief survey, and, by all means, share it with anyone you know. Results will appear later on the ARAC website.
Take this survey. Now with revised link to serve you better!
Thank you very much for participating in this survey. Your feedback will help shape ARAC funding between July 2013 and June 2015. Check our website for updated arts information.

With the ongoing foreclosure crisis and rotten economy, there are lots of properties in Duluth sitting vacant, often leading to vandalism and neighborhood blight. In the meantime, more Duluthians than ever are suffering homelessness.
Loaves & Fishes and Project Save Our Homes are looking for help to identify vacant houses in the Duluth area, particularly bank-owned foreclosures. We will be using this information to push for policy changes to protect neighborhoods and address the problem of homes without people and people without homes. Any information would be helpful: addresses of course, but also if you know how long the house has been vacant (condemnation/eviction/foreclosure notice are usually posted on the door), if utilities are connected… and if you might help organize your neighbors to address the problem! Contact us by Facebook or email: [email protected].
