Vote for Loup-Garou!

Loup-Garou is in Are You Local? hosted by the star tribune and vita.mn. We’re one of very few bands outside of the metro area in the contest. It would mean a ton to us if you could take a few minutes out of your day and vote for us and show some of that Duluth support! You’ll also get a chance to hear the first track from our I Am Blind EP, coming out at Beaner’s on the 26th of February (playing with The People Say Fox and MPLS’s Party House)

All you have to do is go here and register (they ask for only your email) and rate our song a 10! Be sure to check out the other bands on the roster as well, a ton of great artists and groups that i’m sure are familiar names.

The top 3 bands get featured in Vita.MN magazine and play a showcase at the Varsity Theater on March 4th. One group advances from that showcase down to Texas for SXSW.

“When all is said and done, more is said than done.” – Alan Page

Sure the Packers won (another) super bowl victory tonight. Congratulations, I guess. But hey, for those of us that are Vikings fans, we may not have a gillion Lombardi trophies like Green Bay does, (we don’t have one even, Packer fans will be sure to tell you), but we’ve got something even better than the Packers:

A state supreme court justice. SO there.

Here’s MN Supreme Court Justice and former Viking great Alan Page talking about education, transcending politics, and the importance of strong families last week on MSNBC
