Loup-Garou & Excuse Me, Princess at Amazing Grace

This Friday the 29th, treat yourself to some home-cooked and tasty tunes at the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe!

Loup-Garou and Excuse Me, Princess will be taking stage at 8pm to jam the jams you know and love as well as the ditties that will get stuck in your head once you hear them. Best part of it all – it’s completely FREE!

So if you didn’t get a ticket to Mumford and Sons but still want to feel like you’re doing something productive on a Friday night, come have a sandwich, coffee, tea, or some delectable cake while watching two of Duluth’s music-making conglomerates.

This coming Friday, October 15th, there is going to be a party like no other. The Half Hearts, originally from the Duluth area, will be throwing a huge CD release show at the REX. Along side the Half Hearts will be Ariane Norrgard et al, Loup-Garou, and The People Say Fox. This is going to be a full night of music, so bring your dancing shoes, party hats, and appropriate judgment (whether it be poor or not is up to you).

There is going to be a party starting at 8pm, and music begins at 9pm. $3 cover. 21+ (confirmed as 21+, sorry youngin’s)

Come out and enjoy the fresh sounds of Duluth while enjoying your favorite tapped beverage!

Loup-Garou and Lotus Eater @ Beaner’s Central

This Friday night Duluth’s own Loup-Garou will be taking the stage at Beaner’s Central along side St. Paul’s Lotus Eater for a night of rowdy and hearty indie-folk music.

Come enjoy some tunes whilst sipping a coffee drink, tea, beer, or eating a sandwich (might I suggest the Naughty Bird?), scone, or parfait.

Show starts at 8pm \ $5 cover charge \ only 2 bands \ all the smiles you can handle.

Loup-garou playing Beaner’s Saturday

Loup-Garou is playing tonight (August 7) at Beaner’s Central with Eau Claire gals, Feathe, and Duluth singer/songwriter Niila.

Come out and enjoy a coffee drink, beer, soda, sandwich, and some fun music.

Show at 8pm, $5 cover, free smiles. I’d love to see as many of you out there as possible.

Art Exhibit and Show at the Encounter

There is a fantastic showing of arts on Saturday, July 10, at the Encounter, being put on by Nate Adelson.

Art from Duluthians will be displayed starting at 3pm in a gallery upstairs at the Encounter for free. There is a wide array of fine arts as well as photography being shown. There is also a show happening in the red room starting at 6pm that will be $3, featuring 6 bands.

Hey Duluth! You just survived the madness of Grandmas, what better way to relax than some live tunes at the Amazing Grace Bakery & Cafe? Loup-Garou will be kicking off their summer Tuesday night at 8pm. John Koepp will be playing an opening set then we plan on getting a bit rowdy. Come for a sandwich, coffee, or some soup and treat yourself to some trumpet and banjo-filled indie-folk!

UMD’s Late Night Kirby is proud to present its last formal concert of the year on Tuesday, April 27: Caroline Smith and the Goodnight Sleeps and UMD’s own Loup-Garou.

This Saturday night, the 30th of January, UMD’s Late Night Kirby will be hosting a night of wonderful Minnesota music!

Jeremy Messersmith and Duluth’s own Dave Mehling will be playing at the Rafters on the third floor of the Kirby Student center at UMD. This event will be FREE for all UMD students and $5 to the public.

Please come by and enjoy the infectious sounds of one of Minneapolis’s favorite singer/songwriters and the musical stylings of UMD alum Dave Mehling!

Koo Koo Kanga Roo is a musical duo from the Twin Cities. They promise to get the crowd involved in their choreographed dances and sing-along choruses and typically described as the Beastie Boys meets Sesame Street. Koo Koo will be performing this Wednesday, April 29th along side local Duluth rock trio, The Real McCoys.

The Event will take place in the Rafters on the University of Minnesota Duluth Campus at 9 pm
