How Pandora gets from the Choir Practice to Low
I’m always interested in how my Pandora gets to where I want it to go by just a seed. It’s like magic.

Today jessige and I were having lunch together and we pondered the question: how long do you have to live here to be considered a native? (We’re both transplants from Eau Claire, Wisconsin that have lived in this area for ten years or more.)
Well, that topic has been done before here on the ol’ PDD (someone else can find it, I wasn’t able to), so we extrapolated it to “what questions would you put on a ‘Duluth Citizenship’ test?”
What are the essential things that you have to know to be considered a native Duluthian?
If you are a member of Members Cooperative Credit Union, please Facebook, call, or email them and ask to keep an office presence in the Duluth Hillside area. They have closed their Hillside office, due to building structural issues but have not mentioned any plans to relocate anywhere nearby.

The attempt by St. Louis County Commissioner Dennis Fink and State Senator Satveer Chaudhary to circumvent the standard Department of Natural Resources process for changing fishing regulations on the Fish Lake Resevoir has already cost Senator Chaudhary his DFL endorsement and may likely cost him his job. The question is what impact will the Fish Lake scandal have on Commissioner Fink’s bid for re-election?
Members of RWDSU-UFCW Local 220 in Williamson, NY, have been trying to negotiate a contract with Mott’s, a subsidiary of Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. The company is looking to slash wages by as much as $1.50 an hour for each and every employee, and is trying to take away the workers’ pension plan. There is no economic necessity for what the company is seeking to do. It is a profitable, growing company.
My work is conducting a training tomorrow for about 75 people, and the guy who was providing our sound system had a family emergency. So now we have no sound system. We don’t need anything elaborate – just a speaker or two, and a microphone, and an easy-to-understand setup. We would have to pick it up tonight and would return it tomorrow night. Can anyone help us out? You can either respond here or call me at 218-391-2733. Thanks!
I am looking for a moderator for a forum tomorrow afternoon at the Labor Temple from 4 until 530. The moderator we had scheduled is unable to make it. The topic is regarding funding for long-term care, although you don’t have to have a lot of knowledge about the subject, and there will be local legislators and members of the public there. Can anyone help out?
!For the past few days, the aggregated links have not been showing up. I did not bookmark my favorite local blogs because I could always find them on there. But now I can’t. Help! I need my time-wasting inner voyuer satisfied
Does anyone have any information about the carnival down by Bayfront? Specifically, times & cost? I can’t find anything anywhere about it…
I have three dug-up clumps of hostas (still clumped in the dirt) and four not-dug-up-yet clumps. Whoever wants them can take them. I will make you homemade Brownies if you dig up the not-dug-up-yet clumps. I hate them, but I don’t want to kill them so really, you’d be doing me and the plants a favor.

Representative Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) announcement today that she planned to re-register as a Democrat, has sent the Democratic leadership into crisis mode.
My beloved 13 year-old television is on its last legs. I bought it on sale for $90 at Shopko when I moved into my first apartment all by myself. It’s a great little tv and it will enjoy being turned into a tele-quarium when it goes to the final analog wave in the sky.
With that, we are in the market for a new television. I have the converter box and antenna. We don’t have cable or satellite. I have no idea what kind of a television to get or what the difference is between them, other than size. I need recommendations and a television geek guru. I’m looking to spend not more than $500. Help, please?
