There is an immediate call for “Day of the Dead” themed art! Please drop off your artwork to Bohemia Arts by October 31st. To be accepted artwork must simply be relevant to the theme, any cultural/individual representation is welcome, all media will be considered, all ages/abilities encouraged, and you may enter as many artworks as you choose. Professional work may be listed for sale, please request upon submission.

You might have seen some of my art at Bohemia Arts, and if not, please do come see it, because if you like it: I am hoping to trade existing paintings, commissions, and/or mural work for a) a decent bike b) a canoe in working order c) a kayak that floats and/or d) misc hauling equipment and useful accessories for said objects. Or other awesome stuff to trade for might be considered too…

Bohemia Arts is revamped and revitalized, and is looking for artists to show work. We are currently seeking artists for monthly featured shows, general showing, teaching, and demonstrations. Still not sure what we are? We’re a fine art supply store, gallery and studio, and proud to be run by a group of volunteer local artists. Come check it out!

Bohemia Arts is near death but not dead. Help me send it out with a bang, and some good, warm fuzzy feelings!! For the final art show, I am looking for artwork inspired by themes of compassion and love. Send some good vibes this way and submit your work for consideration. This is a juried exhibit, so please submit an image file to [email protected] with your contact info. Deadline for consideration is April 30th. The show will run from May 4-29th. Nick Brakel will be displaying Spirit Boxes and Prints of recent work for the month of March at Bohemia Arts.
There will be an artists’ reception held Saturday, March 7th from 6-9pm. Join us for refreshments and speak with Nick about his work. Music by Dan Dresser, Stephanie Dykema, and Dave Mehling.
