Western Duluth Little League is registering players ages 5-15 for the 2015 season. Registration can be conducted in person at Wheeler Fieldhouse this Saturday, March 14, from noon to 2 p.m., or anytime online at westernduluthlittleleague.org.
Does anyone know about the new Japanese Restaurant opening on 1st Ave West? I guess it’s called Hanabi Japanese Cuisine and it is located at 110 N. 1st Ave West. Not sure when they open or what their menu is going to be like. I did hear someone mention Zen House opening a Downtown location, is this it? Or is this a totally different thing?

I am going to a show at the State Theater on Friday March 13. The show will be done around 10-10:30 pm, I would guess. We would want to head out afterwards for a drink or two. I haven’t been downtown in years, so I’m completely out of the loop. Our group are all in our mid-30’s. So we’re not really looking for the “hot” dance club where all the idiot 21-25 year olds hang out. We’d probably like to stay in the general vicinity of Target Center area since that’s where the Theater and our hotel is located. Live music is cool, but not a deal breaker. Anyone have any suggestions?
Congratulations guys, it looks good. It will take some getting used to. Whenever you have a regular hangout that changes, even for the better, it’s kind of a shock to the system to see the look of the site so radically different. I can’t speak for everyone but I certainly appreciate the effort.
