Ground Zero: Duluth’s Battle Against Synthetic Drugs

I wanted to share this documentary with anyone who is interested in viewing it. The film is 25 minutes and takes an objective look at the synthetic drug problem in town. I have put it together over the past year and a half, and while the situation is still ongoing, I think it does a good job of educating the viewers on the toll this issue has had on the different people involved with the issue.

This is a video I did as a fact-finding mission for a long-form documentary I’m working on. It may be interesting for anyone curious about the “legal alternatives” being sold in Duluth.

Documentary Film Passing Through

Passing Through is a documentary about a man from Northern Minnesota who has struggled with the HIV/AIDS virus for 20 years. I finished the film in 2007 as a senior in the video production program at UW-Superior. The film won the jury award in the student category at the Wisconsin Film Festival in ’08. Since then I haven’t been sure what to do with it, so last night I uploaded it to Vimeo for the public to view. If you have 20 minutes please check it out.
