I hope you took more photos.  This is, strangely, one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a while.

we have a similar imprint on one of the east windows at work. fortunately, the bird lived through the ordeal, as it was by a pigeon who got stuck inside overnight. it's still there, about three years later.

...and the mt. ash berries aren't even ripe yet

Wellll... I would argue that we shouldn't put up tall, reflective/transparent buildings in the way of bird migration routes (or that we should at least minimize the danger).
