The DOY Podcast

The DOY Podcast is a comedy/chitchat/whatever podcast. The very first episode features local raconteurs/comedians/ actors/musicians/television hosts/et ceteras Jody Kujawa, Tony Bennett, and Nathan Carlblom talking, singing, telling jokes, being gross, being vile, and just being. DOY is not recommended for children or people who get all freaked out by dirty stuff.

Please give DOY a shot, if you’ve got some spare time where your ears aren’t booked. It may be just what your drums have been craving. And keep checking back for Episode Two and beyond. The idea is to do at least one of these a month.

I listened to this pile of garbage and had a giggle fit that almost got me fired. I look forward to the stares I will get in my cubicle when the next one comes out.

It's good to know that there is a market for garbage.

Garbage is as garbage does, I like to say once.

With regard Dugglass's comments, as his brother-in-law if the law were common, I should like to expose him for the giggler that he is. I should like to expose him, but no one wants to see that. Truth is, his gigglings range far and wide and are not as rare as he would lead you or god or Martin Landau's second cousin to believe.

This is not to say that his gigglings aren't worth a damn - oh no, far from it, people! They are worth at least a damn, possibly more, considering today's market fluctuations. That is to say, view his giggling admissions with skepticism, yet accept them at face value. That's all I'm trying to say or not.

In closing, I'd like to say that I enjoyed the podcast very much which of course is a subjective level of enjoyment that you couldn't possibly reckon with but be assured that it is a "good" level of enjoyment and while that level is also subjective we can all come to a cultural consensus with regard to the word itself because we say things like "good" beer, "good" pizza, "good" music, etc. -- phrases that indicate some nebulous yet substantive (by degree) level of enjoyment which is what I said in the first place (or second -- I can't remember).

In any case, rock on you crazy, crazy persons!

I want to see what this program looks like in a detailed outline format. I'm not going to listen to the full hour and a half another time just to get it right, but it would go something like this:

I. Lady who gets off on fart noises
... a. Sounds Jody makes on the toilet
... b. Installing a toilet mic
... c. How the Internet has made masturbaters choosier
... d. Chuck Berry's ding-a-ling cam

II. Karaoke
... a. Karaoke evolution
... b. Karaoke obsession

III. The Olympics
... a. What is pickleball?
... b. Bob Costas' idiocy and racism
... c. Usain Bolt's ego

... and so on through Jody pissing in public, the Honking House, Hairball, Spirit Valley Days, Gary/New Duluth bars, etc.

Wow, we did talk about Duluth too much.
