I won't wreck the fun for everyone else - but the dog looks like Sampson to me.

I believe I have seen this little gnome scene on 1st street way out by the old East High?

At first I was bummed that Sampson had stuck his nose in as I was snapping the photo, and then I realized he served to show scale. Good boy!

Oh, mossybones, you are so close. Wrong street.

Aahhhh! it must be Second or Third Street. I walk my dog over there all the time. Maybe I'll try to go finding it today and report back.

I realize now I made the foolish mistake of confusing trolls and gnomes. 

Here are trolls at Gethsemane Cemetery, circa September 2009.

"Trolls vs. Gnomes".  Just like "Alien v. Predator." Only a lot smaller. And, it must be said, just a bit creepier.

Do you suppose "Please leave gnomes" means "Please leave these gnomes here," or "Please leave any gnomes you happen to have with you here"?

Nope, he's a Samoyed. He's not mine. I just borrow him.

Ah ok. They look very similar, but it's hard to tell without being able to see the ears.
