Duluth 2024 General Election Sample Ballot

This sample ballot is specific to Duluth’s western neighborhoods. Races for Minnesota State Representative and St. Louis County Board of Commissioners vary throughout the city.

Far western Duluth residents will see the State Representative District 3B race.

Eastern Duluth neighborhoods will see the State Representative District 8B race.

Eastern Duluth neighborhoods will see the County Commissioner District 2 race.

The judicial offices on the back of the ballot are the same throughout the city.

Early in-person voting and absentee voting can be done in the city clerk’s office at Duluth City Hall, room 318. The hours are:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday before election day (10/29) – 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday before election day (11/3) – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday before election day (11/4) – 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 4, is the last day to vote early in person.

To vote by mail, fill out the online Minnesota Absentee Ballot Request at mnvotes.sos.mn.gov, or use the paper form at duluthmn.gov. Return the ballot as soon as possible. Ballots must be returned to the city clerk’s office by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots cannot be returned to polling locations.

And people can register at the polls on election day with the proper I.D. and/or a registered voter to vouch for them. The requirements are listed at sos.state.mn.us.
