Opera in Duluth! Amahl and the Night Visitors, Dec. 17-19

News release:

Lyric Opera of the North cordially invites you to a new production of Amahl and the Night Visitors by Gian Carlo Menotti.

December 17 & 18 at 7:30 p.m., and December 19 at 2 pm
Scottish Rite Masonic Temple, 4 W. Second St., Duluth.

Amahl and the Night Visitors features beautiful melodies, engaging characters and a heartwarming message that resonates with the themes of generosity and hope.

This opera is under an hour in length and is sung in English, with full orchestra. A dance sequence will feature guest artists from Minnesota Ballet.

LOON’s production will feature 100% local talent, on stage and in every element of the production.

Ticket are $24 for adults, $18 for seniors and students, and $10 for children under the age of 12. LOON will donate $2 from every child’s ticket price to the Nettleton Academic and Cultural Enrichment Program.

Patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for CHUM’s Food Shelf.

Please call the LOON office for tickets, or if you have any further questions about the production: 218.464.0922.
