Hawk Ridge housing proposal under scrutiny

When I read the article, I was surprised that the project area was zoned residential at all. It seemed like a significant amount of green space to give up for a housing development. But then when I looked at the project in the broader context of the development of the surrounding area over the past 20 years, it seems like a small part of a larger process. I'm not taking a position on the development. The attached images just helped me understand the proposal better so I thought I would share them. The yellow box in the lower right square is the approximate location of the proposed development.
