Movies in the Park and a Hint of Rubber Duck

13902705_10108013292719090_5584844089630251312_nI passed through Movies in the Park on Friday while walking home from Suicide Squad at the Duluth Movie Theater at the DECC. On the way home, I conservatively passed seventy people playing Pokemon Go. I know this because I was playing, too.

At the movies, there was a local community organization raising money by selling Heggie’s Pizza, there was a Duck heralding the part of Tall Ships I am most excited by, and there were hundreds of moviegoers.

Thank you to the sponsors who make this possible, including North Shore Bank of Commerce (who keep me in fifty-cent pieces all year long), Lake Superior College, and the Greater Downtown Council.

Would a flaming arrow make the giant plastic duck go away? I'd like to use one on whoever's in charge of ramming TBT down my throat at WDSE (or any of their other myriad eyeball-gouging melodies) while you're simply trying to watch a program on Koko the gorilla.
