Lost: Orange Cat in East Hillside

Lost July 21:
Orange/”champagne” Tabby
Female, adult, 10 lbs. (pudgy)
Spayed, micro-chipped
Very timid and skittish around strangers and in unfamiliar places
Sweet, friendly, vocal

She wandered away Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and we haven’t seen her since. It is unlike her to go far from home. She would have been seen near Fourth Street and Eighth Avenue East or in the alley behind.

If seen or found please call 952-807-3882. She is very loved and greatly missed.

Poor kitty - hopefully she's back soon! You may want to post a lost ad on Craigslist as well.

Yes, what Badcat said. We had a dog who was a runner, and both times he was found by kind folks who saw the ad on Craigslist.

Also, if you have a Facebook account, you might try posting there. People are very nice about sharing there, as well.

Good luck. It's rotten to have a furry family member missing.

Cats usually don't go far. Wait until it's quiet in the neighborhood--like just after dark or in the very early morning when it's still dark. Then take a flashlight and go look under every porch and deck in a square block. The other possibility is that someone has accidentally locked her into a garage or something and gone on vacation. (This happens more than you think--cats who are outdoors are used to going into habitually open spaces, and then sometimes get locked in.)
