What is the best place for outdoor concerts in the Duluth area?

* The Duluth City Council yesterday authorized staging a rock-style concert in Wade Municipal Stadium, an action followed immediately by Mayor Robert Beaudin’s pledge to veto the agreement. The impending veto would appear to rule out the Aug. 24 concert.

Lincoln Park has a little outdoor stage I believe.

I, too, would veto "a rock-style concert."  It's got to be authentic rock or no rock at all.

+1 for the street concerts, in various locations throughout the summer months.

Also the Grandma's and Lave Ave Cafe  marathon tents...are they "outdoors?"

There are performances at Minnesota Power Plaza, too.

Wade Stadium was a great place for an outdoor concert.  Willy Nelson put on a great show in 1983.

I'm confused...Best place for an outdoor concert...The best place to stage one? The best place to perform? The best place to see one?

It's an all-things-considered poll, Marty. Some might be better from one or another perspective, but which one is more bester than the others?
