It's an easy two-day 971-mile drive from Pittsburgh.
I like the juxtaposition of "steamship or plane" ... what year do you think this was? I love that steamship was just as likely as plane or "motor."
I enjoy motoring on excellent highways, myself.
I'm not sure of the exact date this particular piece of propaganda was published, but Duluth tended to be billed as a "Hay-fever Haven" and "Air-conditioned City" in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
